Ehime Travel Guide
Ehime prefecture includes the northwest quarter of Shikoku Island and many smaller islands in the Seto Inland Sea.
Ehime is rich in history, with its own little Kyoto area in Ozu, including Ozu Castle, and Matsuyama Castle in the capital of Matsuyama. Ehime is also where you will find Dogo Onsen, one of Japan’s oldest hot springs, and its related resort area, as well as the historical townscape around it, which is known as the Town of Botchan, after Soseki Natsume's novel, Botchan.
