Saga Travel Guide

Saga prefecture is located in the northwestern part of the Kyushu region. It is an area famous for its delicious seafood and for its exquisite porcelain ware production - Arita and Nabeshima - which has a long tradition in the area.

Saga prefecture is also the region where the remains of one of Japan's oldest fortresses have been discovered - the Yoshinogari Ruins, a site that offers valuable insights on how the people lived in Japan 2000 years ago.
