2023 Kinokawa Citizen Festival

Kinokawa City in Wakayama Prefecture is adjacent to Osaka, and the name of the city is derived from the first-class river "Kinokawa" that flows east to west through the center of the city. This year's event was held for the first time in four years, and it was a great success with a lot of visitors!
The highlight is the powerful 3000 fireworks! Over the course of 30 minutes, powerful fireworks were launched one after another, and the sky was colorfully colored with the vibrations of the air!

There was a very dark time for tourism, when social distancing and stay-at-home measures were thoroughly enforced due to the covid-19, and even events, let alone festivals, had to be voluntarily canceled. Even in such a situation, there were times when several fireworks were set off without any notice to pray for safety and to collect the situation. At last, we were able to held the festival, and we felt that everyone's thoughts were reflected in the 3000 fireworks for 30 minutes.
