    Yamanashi

    A ski area at the foot of Mt. Fuji, 1,300 m above sea level. Ski and snowboard with the mountain filling the view ahead of you, or let the children loose on the sledding-only Chibikko Ai-Land. If you would rather not ski, the observation lift carries you up to the summit view. About 90 minutes by car from Shinjuku, Tokyo.
