The Kamogawa Canal is one of the first canals of Lake Biwa Canal, and is approximately 9km long, running from the confluence of the Kamogawa River on the Kamohigashi Canal to Horizume-cho, Fushimi Ward. This special exhibition will introduce the history of the Kamogawa Canal from its birth to the present, along with valuable materials.
