Bouton opened and started as a bar in 2018. As a community space, it has been creating a "little town" with events such as live performances, solo exhibitions, film festivals, seminars, and rental kitchens, and in April 2023, it also opened the Bokakuan private lodging facility, where you can rent out the entire building. We would like to carefully create a system that circulates to the town.

Bouton/Bokakuan is a space created by renovating a former craft store and residence in a corner of a shopping street in Nogata City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The banks of the Onga River, which flows through the center of the city, and Mount Fukuchi, which can be viewed from the riverbed, are very beautiful. The city center, where time flows peacefully, is a place where you can spend your time at a leisurely pace. I enjoy listening to people's stories, reading books, taking photos, and taking walks. The origins of Bouton

A place that connects places that communicate from small town to town, creating a quiet flow

This was a former craft store that had been closed for a long time in a corner of the shopping district. I was interested in this place, so I renovated it into a place where everyone can gather.

Bouton／Bokakuan is located in Nogata City, Fukuoka Prefecture. This town once prospered through coal, but after the coal industry declined, the number of vacant stores in the shopping district increased rapidly. Even now, day and night, there are few people passing by.
