Sustainable initiatives and the background behind their implementation
At Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel, we are promoting plastic-free initiatives in all guest rooms, based on Marriott International's sustainability guidelines, "Serve 360: Doing Good In Every Direction."
As part of this initiative, we have adopted amenities from MiYO ORGANIC, which pursues both ethical manufacturing and comfort.
As items that complement the space where you can feel the city of Hiroshima and the breeze of the Setouchi, we aim to provide a sustainable yet high-quality stay experience.

Features of environmentally friendly amenities
These amenities utilize bamboo, a recycled material, for toothbrushes and hair combs, with the aim of reducing environmental impact, and the packaging uses FSC-certified paper. The design combines the gentle texture and functionality unique to natural materials, further enhancing your stay. In addition to being easy to use, these amenities offer a natural warmth each time you touch them, accompanying you throughout your stay.

Towards sustainable hotel management
Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel is promoting various initiatives to reduce its environmental impact and realize a sustainable society.
We prioritize environmental considerations in our daily operations, including reducing plastic use in guest room amenities, implementing water conservation measures, introducing "Terry Re Use" (encouraging the reuse of towels during your stay), and working to reduce food waste, as well as using locally sourced ingredients and free-range eggs.
Furthermore, in 2025, we obtained the "3 Gyoiko Sakura" certification in the "Sakura Quality Green Certification," which evaluates the environmental considerations and social contributions of accommodation facilities. Moving forward, we aim for sustainable hotel management that works in harmony with the environment and local community while cherishing the comfortable stay experience of our guests.
