Enjoy a Japanese-Style Afternoon Tea at Hilton Tokyo Odaiba

Odaiba is located about 20 minutes by car from Tokyo Station and is one of the best spots to enjoy panoramic views of Tokyo Bay Tokyo and the skyscrapers of central Tokyo. The Hilton Tokyo Odaiba stands right in front of this spectacular view.
Located on the third floor of the hotel, the Japanese restaurant "Sakura" boasts an open terrace and Japanese garden offering stunning views of Tokyo Bay, making it an attractive place to dine while enjoying the ever-changing scenery throughout the seasons and time of day.
This article introduces the "Japanese Afternoon Tea Set," available only on weekends and holidays from July 18th (Sat) to September 27th (Sun), which can be enjoyed at a hotel in Odaiba with stunning views, offering refreshing Japanese sweets and savory dishes prepared by chefs at specialized counters for "tempura," "teppanyaki," and "sushi."
Japanese Sweets Inspired by Coolness and Lightness
The stars of our afternoon tea are Japanese sweets themed around coolness and lightness. We have prepared a selection of items that make the most of the flavors of the ingredients, including chilled warabi mochi, nerikiri depicting a clear stream and ayu fish, moist black bean matcha terrine, and smooth pumpkin and soy milk mousse.
Also, a unique feature of this place is that you can enjoy shaved ice, a summer treat unique to Japan, in a self-service style, making as much as you like of your favorite flavors! First, you shave the ice with a shaved ice machine, and then you can have a "handmade experience" where you combine syrups such as kinako (roasted soybean flour) and matcha (green tea powder) with toppings such as brown sugar syrup and red bean paste to your liking.

Savory Options Including Tempura and Sushi
To complement the sweets, we offer eight Japanese savory dishes, each prepared by the chefs at the specialized counters for tempura, teppanyaki, and sushi located within the Japanese restaurant "Sakura."
You can enjoy small portions of unique Japanese cuisine all at once, including roast beef made with Japanese Black Wagyu beef, meat miso gratin, three kinds of temari sushi, and tempura made with seasonal ingredients.

Variety of Tea Options: Japanese Tea, Herbal Tea & Amazake
The drink selection, an essential part of afternoon tea, also features a focus on Japanese cuisine.
For your welcome drink, we offer Japanese dashi broth and non-alcoholic sparkling sake. A buffet-style selection of Japanese beverages is also available, including hojicha, Japanese tea, four types of herbal tea, and amazake (sweet rice wine). Choose as much as you like! Of course, black tea and coffee are also available.
From July 18th (Sat) to September 27th (Sun), enjoy afternoon tea available only on weekends and holidays. In the tranquil atmosphere of the sukiya-style building, surrounded by a lush Japanese garden, you can fully immerse yourself in the charm of Japanese culture.
