Southern Beach Hotel & Resort Okinawa will be holding an event for hotel guests called "Southern Festa in Summer 2026" from July 17th (Fri) to August 29th (Sat), 2026. As a special feature, fireworks will be launched from the balconies of ocean-view guest rooms.

"Southern Festa in Summer 2026" is an interactive summer event that you can enjoy all day long inside the venue, designed to help you fully enjoy the summer in Okinawa and make your trip a memorable one.

We offer a variety of activities for all ages to enjoy, from refreshing morning yoga to fireworks that light up the night sky, immersive live performances, lively festival stalls, and workshops.

How to spend your summer vacation ~Southern Festa in Summer 2026~ [July 17th - August 29th]

Fireworks

To create special summer memories for our guests, we will be launching fireworks every Tuesday and Friday from July 21st (Tue) to August 21st (Fri), 2026.

The fireworks are launched from the beach in front of the hotel. From your room balcony, you can relax and enjoy the spectacular, unobstructed view. One of the biggest attractions is that families with small children and multi-generational trips can enjoy the show without worrying about crowds, travel burdens, or the hassle of securing a viewing spot. Enjoy a luxurious fireworks experience as if you were in a prime location, surrounded by the pleasant sea breeze of the tropics.

Live Stage

From Friday, July 24th to Saturday, August 29th, 2026, we will be hosting daily performances that evoke a tropical atmosphere, including creative Eisa dance, island song live music, and hula dancing, allowing you to experience Okinawa's traditional culture up close.

Ninja training experience

Experience content themed around "ninja culture," which has become popular among foreign visitors tourists visiting Japan in recent years, is now available. The "Ninja Training Experience" allows you to enjoy Japanese culture in a fun way. This Japanese event is recommended for foreign visitors tourists and children who want to have an active and fun time. We offer training menus such as "shuriken throwing" where you aim at targets, "archery experience," and "kendama experience." Please come dressed in a ninja costume and enjoy an authentic ninja training experience.
