The Kasaoka Okayama are located in the Seto Inland Sea , in southwestern Okayama Prefecture, near the border with Hiroshima Prefecture . In the fall of 2026, we will be holding five monitor tours that allow visitors to enjoy island walks, trekking, seafood, history, and traditional culture.

Okayama Prefecture is located in the Center of Western Japan and is known as the "Land of Sunshine" due to its warm climate and little rain throughout the year. It's conveniently located halfway between famous tourist destinations like Kyoto, Osaka, and Hiroshima! It's also the gateway to Shikoku via the Seto. Okayama is also known as the "Fruit Okayama," and the fruits that are sun-drenched in the warm climate of the Setouchi are of the highest quality in terms of sweetness, aroma, and flavor. You can enjoy seasonal fruits such as white peaches, Muscat grapes, and Pione grapes! Okayama is also home to world-class tourist spots, including Okayama Castle, Okayama Korakuen Garden, one of Japan's three most famous gardens, and Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, which boasts history, culture, and art!

On Kitagi Island, a designated Japan Heritage site, we will visit the "Stone Quarry Valley Observation Deck," which offers a dynamic landscape, and enjoy a performance of the traditional "Stone Quarry Song."
Furthermore, in Mushima Island, you can experience the thrilling "Mawashi Mikoshi" (spinning portable shrine) procession held at the Otori Shrine's Autumn Grand Festival up close. This is a special tour available only on this day.

We will sample Kitagi Island's brand oysters, "Kitaki Oysters," which are free of any unpleasant odor or taste and are packed with rich umami flavor.
In Takashima, enjoy a luxurious seafood lunch at "Casa Takeda." This gourmet tour also includes a refreshing walk to "Koharami Stone," which offers spectacular views.

This is a half-day tour for adults, exploring Shiraishi Island with a local guide.
Enjoy a traditional weaving experience, a stroll through the famous Kairyuji Temple, and a sweet treat at the island cafe "Kua."
The tour concludes with a performance of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage "Shiraishi Odori" on the beach at sunset. You can even try dancing yourself.

Enjoy a tour-exclusive oyster-themed lunch featuring "Kitaki Oyster," a premium oyster brand that has won awards at international food exhibitions.
On Mushima Island , you can enjoy craft beer at a brewery overlooking the sea and visit Mushima Island Lighthouse, the oldest white lighthouse in Okayama Prefecture . This tour allows you to fully enjoy autumn flavors and drinks, as well as a leisurely stroll around the island.

This trekking course was supervised by the outdoor brand "Montbell".
Enjoy the spectacular views from Takashima , where legends of Emperor Jimmu remain, and from the " Takayama Observatory" on Shiraishi Island .
After enjoying a seafood lunch, experience the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage " Shiraishi Odori" on the beach at sunset. This tour is packed with highlights, allowing you to fully enjoy the nature, food, and traditional culture of the Kasaoka Islands in one day.
