When the ban is lifted, Taikobo will gather from all over the country. The technique of ``tomozuri'' was born in the Kano River and has been taught all over the country, and is said to be ``the birthplace of sweetfish fishing in recent years.

The spawning season for Kanogawa ayu is from the beginning of October to the end of December. The eggs that are born hatch in about 20 days and head to the sea. After that, it spends about three months in the sea, and after it has grown to a certain size, it takes two months to swim upstream.
The season for sweetfish fishing on the Kano River opens in late May every year, but the sweetfish fishing season is around June and July.
