In conjunction with the Ibaraki Prefectural Hitachi Seaside Park's ``Kochia Carnival,'' a free bus (Kochia Shuttle Bus) will be running from Ajigaura Station to ``Kichihinguchi'', which is the closest to ``Miharashi no Oka'' where the kochia trees turn in color.

Free shuttle bus to Hitachi Seaside Park

It takes 28 minutes by train from Katsuta Station to Ajigaura Station (terminus), then 40 minutes including a 9-minute transfer to a bus at the same station. The shuttle bus connects with all trains during park opening hours, so you don't have to worry about traffic jams or time loss. You can also visit the popular spot "Osakana Market". (Get off at Nakaminato Station. About 10 minutes walk)
