Bouton/Bokakuan is a space created by renovating a former craft store and residence in a corner of a shopping street in Nogata City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The banks of the Onga River, which flows through the center of the city, and Mount Fukuchi, which can be viewed from the riverbed, are very beautiful. The city center, where time flows peacefully, is a place where you can spend your time at a leisurely pace. I enjoy listening to people's stories, reading books, taking photos, and taking walks. I also cherish my time by tending to the garden at Bokakuan. Please come and have a nice chat and share some quiet time together.
It takes about 1.5 hours from Fukuoka Airport and about 1 hour from Hakata Station on the Fukuhoku Yutaka Line without changing trains to Nogata🌸
2. From Fukuoka Airport International Terminal to Hakata Station A, take the AIRPORT BUS bound for Nishitetsu Tenjin Expressway Bus Terminal. The ride takes about 20 minutes and costs 270 yen.
3. From Fukuoka Airport Bus Stop to Hakata Bus Terminal, take the Nishitetsu Bus bound for Hakata Station. The ride takes about 13 minutes and costs 270 yen.

About 30 years ago, a local man planted hydrangeas at the Mototori Hydrangea Garden in Kamitonno, Nogata City, to beautify the Satoyama area.
