This hot spring inn is located in a rural area surrounded by mountains and rich in nature, and is easily accessible, just a 40-minute train ride from Osaka city and a 1-minute walk from Amami Station. The 110-year-old main building is a traditional wooden Sukiya-style building designed by Tatsuno Kingo, who also designed Tokyo Station, and is designated as a national tangible cultural property. The Japanese garden, which covers an area of 10,000 sq. m, offers seasonal scenery such as cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn. The inn is proud of its Japanese cuisine and hot springs that make use of seasonal ingredients. The cuisine is also suitable for vegetarians. Put on a yukata and geta and stroll through the garden, take a bath in the hot spring, relax in your room with Japanese cuisine and alcohol, and then sleep in your futon. The rooms are covered with tatami mats, and in the tokonoma alcoves there are seasonal hanging scrolls, flower arrangements, Japanese tableware such as pottery and lacquerware, and Japanese cuisine, so you can experience Japanese culture without leaving your room. The surrounding area is a rural area where the original Japanese scenery remains, and we recommend walking, cycling, and trekking. The main building of Nantenen was designed by the famous Meiji-era architect "Tatsuno Kingo," who also designed Tokyo Station and the Bank of Japan Head Office, and is designated as a national tangible cultural property. The 111-year-old two-story wooden sukiya-style building is a valuable example of the traditional Japanese inn style.

A tokonoma alcove, hanging scrolls, flower arrangements, fittings, and tatami rooms. Take a bath in the hot springs, wear a yukata, and eat Japanese cuisine served on lacquerware and ceramics. After the meal, sleep on a futon in a tatami room. By staying overnight, you can experience valuable Japanese culture.
