Try a secret training experience in the quiet mountains of Shikoku! In a hidden forest, you can spend special time training your mind and body through meditation, strength training, swordsmanship, and more. Why not enjoy an extraordinary experience in a hidden spot with few tourists?
First of all, please promise me. Even if you find out about this place, don't tell anyone else. It's a very quiet place, so I don't want many people to visit. I want only those who really want to come here to enjoy it quietly.

This is Nametoko Valley in the southwestern part of Shikoku.
It is one of the sources of the Shimanto River, which is representative of Shikoku, and has very clean water.
There are big rocks, moss, and beautiful forests. To get to Nametoko Valley, you have to use a bicycle or a car, so there are usually very few people there. You can enjoy nature in peace.
You might occasionally see wild animals such as deer, monkeys, boars, badgers and even a samurai.

Nametoko Valley is a very beautiful and quiet place, so I recommend meditating there.

Nametoko Valley is a place with very few people, so the only sounds you can hear are the water, the wind, and the birds.
You can meditate very deeply. You can relax and enjoy nature slowly. You can meditate without a kimono, but wearing a kimono improves your posture and allows you to meditate better.

You can also do some slightly different muscle training in a secret place.

When you get hungry, find your favorite spot and eat your lunch.
There is no restaurant, so you will need to buy your lunch in advance and bring it with you.
There are no trash cans, so please be sure to bring a trash bag to take home with you.

If you train with a samurai, you might be able to cut through rocks.
If you want to have a unique training with a samurai,
You might want to stay at the BBQ Castle .
BBQ Samurai will lend you his kimono and sword, take you on a unique training, and even make you a traditional Japanese bento lunch.
It will be a trip you will never forget.
