The Sakura Festival is held every spring at Kyuka Park in Kuwana City Mie Prefecture , Mie Prefecture, and in 2025 it is scheduled to run from March 29th (Sat) to April 13th (Sun). You can comfortably get to Kyuka Park by "Charichari" from Kuwana Station! (Nearest port: Kakinoyasu Community Park)
Ride your bike from the east exit of Kuwana Station and head to Kyuka Park!
During the Sakura Festival, there are huge traffic jams🚘️ around Kyuka Park, making it difficult to travel by car... By using "Charichari", you can avoid the traffic jams and get there smoothly!

When you exit the east exit of Kuwana Station, you will find the "Charichari" port near the elevator.
Arrived at Charichari Port Kakinan Community Park!
Kakinoyasu Community Park is a 4-minute walk from Kyuka Park ! The photo shows it empty on a weekday, but the parking lot fills up during events such as the Sakura Festival!
Ports may be full, so be sure to check nearby ports in advance!

Arrived at Jiuhua Park!
The Sakura Festival venue is crowded with many people, and the cherry blossoms in full bloom create a gorgeous atmosphere.
Many people walk along the overflowing rows of cherry blossom trees, taking photos📸 and enjoying gourmet food at the merchandise booths!
And! The people who are gazing at the cherry blossoms while being rocked on the popular Kuwana Suigobune boats are smiling and enjoying the spring atmosphere. Just looking at them is very relaxing!
If you're lucky, you might even see some turtles relaxing in the river...

And what's more, the cherry blossoms will be lit up from sunset until 9:30 p.m.!
