Mie Travel Guide
Mie is an ocean facing prefecture in the Kansai region, with 1000 km of coastline and numerous stunning beaches. Mie is home to one of Japan's most sacred sites, Ise Grand Shrine, plus the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route, the Meoto Iwa (the Wedded Rocks), and is where you will find Mikimoto pearls, incredible seafood and their own brand of Wagyu beef, Matsuzaka beef.
