I will be taking the Kintetsu Limited Express bound for Kashikojima. To ride the Limited Express, you need to purchase a Limited Express ticket in addition to your regular train ticket. All seats on Kintetsu Limited Express trains are reserved seats; there are no unreserved seats.

*Reservations and purchases for express train tickets begin at 10:30 AM, one month prior to the date of travel.
There is no onboard sales service, so please purchase any necessary items before boarding at convenience stores such as FamilyMart at Kintetsu Namba Station or Cook House, a bakery popular for its melon bread.

11:57 Get off at Kintetsu Uji Station.
After getting off the Kintetsu Limited Express train, you will need to transfer to a local bus. If you have a large bag that you won't need during your sightseeing, it is recommended to use the coin lockers at the station. Toilets are located outside the ticket gates.
There's only one exit from the station. Let's head towards the bus rotary.
Upon arriving at Ise, you'll be greeted by an impressive torii gate. The Uji behind the gate is said to be the gateway connecting the sacred area with the everyday world. Cross the bridge to enter the shrine grounds and first pay your respects at the main sanctuary. As you walk along the path surrounded by lush Mori, you can feel the sacred atmosphere unique to Ise.

If you have some time before your train departs, it's a good idea to check out the convenience store at the station, which also sells local souvenirs. If you leave your luggage in a coin locker, be careful not to forget it.
