"Unagi no Nedoko" continues its activities to preserve local culture and connect landscapes that evoke the unique character of the land. Based on the idea that "monpe (traditional Japanese work pants) can still be worn today," they started proposing ways to wear them and developing Kurume fabric. Just as American jeans transformed from miners' work pants to everyday wear, they are working to see if Japanese monpe can also transform from farm workwear to everyday wear.
