About OCAT: The Bus Terminal by JR Namba Station
OCAT (Osaka City Air Terminal) is the largest bus terminal in western Japan, directly connected to JR Namba Station, and also houses offices, restaurants, and shopping facilities.
From the bus terminal on the second floor, you can find limousine buses to Kansai International Airport and Osaka(Itami) Airport, as well as intercity express buses that go from Sendai in the north to Kumamoto in the south.
The rooftop features a rooftop garden planted with approximately 200 species/10,000 plants of herbs such as lavender and rosemary, as well as trees, making it an "urban oasis" and a place of relaxation for citizens.
OCAT is also a frequent venue for musical performances, and its outdoor "Ponte Square" serves as a practice and social gathering place for the street dance community of young people in Osaka.
