Hyogo Travel Guide
Kobe, Hyogo prefecture, is perhaps best known for its Kobe beef, but there is more to the city than just its unique cuisine! The downtown area of Kobe is full of fascinating places; Sannomiya has a famous shopping street, where visitors and locals alike come to shop; there is a great Chinatown with amazing food stalls selling a wide variety of dishes; and the bay area is home to Harborland, a commercial facility with plenty of museums and shops to enjoy.
But Kobe also has Mt. Rokko and Mt. Maya - the view from Kikuseidai is said to be one of the three most incredible night views in all of Japan. Historic buildings, modern facilities, ancient shrines, and natural wonders - Kobe is a great place to visit when you want to experience a little bit of everything Japan has to offer.
